FREETOWN — Caritas Freetown, in collaboration with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) – EMPOWER WARO Program, organized a cash distribution ceremony to assist households affected by devastating fires in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation Sierra Leone, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the United Nations Population Fund, launched the Pregnancy Registration and Service Tracking application (PReSTrack), a life-saving digital app to reduce the high rate of maternal mortality in Sierra Leone.
Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, will host the 2024 African Genius Awards in September, making it the first college/university outside South Africa to host the prestigious awards.
