President Captain Ibrahim Traore continues to surprise the world with a new initiative: monthly stipends for all university students in Burkina Faso.
All students attending government-owned universities in Burkina Faso will receive a monthly stipend of 100,000 CFA francs (approximately $160 USD) as financial support throughout their studies and until they secure employment.
Burkina Faso also offers free education at the primary school, junior secondary, and senior secondary levels.
Since Ibrahim Traore became president of Burkina Faso, he has done a tremendous job.
He opened the first-ever tomato processing plant, built Burkina Faso’s and Africa’s largest hospital, opened an electric vehicle assembly plant, provided hundreds of tractors and agricultural machinery to local farmers, constructed hundreds of kilometers of roads in the country, is set to open the largest airport in Burkina Faso by the end of 2025 – this with many more.
