Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, will host the 2024 African Genius Awards in September, making it the first college/university outside South Africa to host the prestigious awards.

Since 2021, the African Genius Awards have been held in South Africa. But in May 2024, the African Genius Awards and Fourah Bay partnered to host the awards event in Sierra Leone.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr Sifiso Falala, founder of the African Genius Awards, told The African Dream that they are very proud to partner with Fourah Bay College.

“Sierra Leone is a special country, and to have Sierra Leone to host the 2024 African Genius Awards is a special event for them,” said Dr Sifiso Falala, founder of The African Genius Awards.

Dr Falala also said the awards will be hosted in different African countries in the coming years as the awards seek to showcase what Africans are capable of doing and achieving.

We are very proud to partner with Fourah Bag College. We have some exciting results to look forward to and we will do the launching and announcements of winners in Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone — Dr Sifiso Falala.
