BREAKING: Bob Marley’s grandson, Joseph ‘Jo’ Mersa Marley, has died

The grandson of the late reggae legend Bob Marley has died aged 31. According to TMZ, Jo Mersa passed away on Tuesday due to asthma-related conditions, although the news surrounding his death remains unclear.

Joseph, son of Stephen Marley went Miami Dade College and studied audio engineering after spending his early years in Jamaica, the hometown of his grand-dad.

In 2014, Jo went on to drop an EP called “Comfortable”, which had hit tracks like “Rock and Swing” and “Bogus.” He also released the hit single, “Burn It Down,” in 2016 — and released a 2nd EP, “Eternal,” last year, his last EP before his death.

He was 31.
