$75 Million Grant to Support Reforms and Mitigate Pandemic Impact in Sierra Leone – World Bank

Just after the World Bank pulled out technical and financial support for the ongoing Mid-Term Census, the World Bank Board has approved an International Development Association (IDA) grant of $75 million to “improve natural resources governance, enhance inclusiveness and promote sustainability of development financing.”

UNICEF Donates 77 Solar Powered Refrigerators To The Ministry of Health and Sanitation To Strengthen The Cold Chain System

With support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) donates 77 solar-powered refrigerators to the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health and Sanitation to “strengthen the cold chain system of the country’s Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) and reduce infant and under-five mortality rates in Sierra Leone.”
