Abu Bakarr Jalloh Wins The 2024 Vickie Remoe Prize For Journalism And New Media

Abu Bakarr Jalloh, a Sierra Leonean content writer, storyteller, and founder of The African Dream has been selected as one of the winners of the 2024 Vickie Remoe Prize for Journalism and New Media.

Abu Bakarr Jalloh won under the “Content Creation” category.

The Vickie Remoe Prize for Journalism and New Media was founded by Vickie Remoe, a Sierra Leonean award-winning entrepreneur, TV Host, media and marketing consultant and host of the Make SierraLeone Famous Podcast.

The Vickie Remoe Prize highlights emerging journalists and new media content creators for excellence, originality, and creativity.

Abu Bakarr Jalloh started The African Dream, a platform dedicated to telling positive, inspiring, stories and stories of change-makers in Sierra Leone and across the continent, with a Techno Spark 5 smartphone.

Although Abu Bakarr Jalloh is a graduate of Njala University, Sierra Leone, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, his passion for content creation and storytelling has earned him a place among Africa’s leading content creators.
