History is always meant to be made! The Scorpions of Gambia defeats the Syli National of Guinea by a goal to nil to make it to their first-ever African Cup of Nations quarterfinals on their first-ever AFCON appearance.

The TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations 2021 keeps delivering surprises. The lowest-ranked team at this year’s tournament, Gambia, makes history as they make their way into the TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations quarterfinals on their first-ever appearance.

The fates of Algeria, Nigeria, and Ghana might serve as a reminder that nothing can be taken for granted in this tournament. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
