Africell SL Signs MOU With The Students’ Union Government – Njala University, Njala Campus

In a bid to improve easy and affordable Internet access on campus, the Students’ Union Government Njala University, Njala Campus has signed an MOU with Africell SL Limited.

In his opening statement, President Mohamed Alex Koroma thanked the company for the Linkup service provided for students on campus recently, he further highlighted the challenges students are facing on campus for affordable and cheap telecommunication facilities and the need for the MOU with Africell in salvaging the problem.

In his response, the Head of Sales and Marketing, Mr Sheikh Omaru Jalloh confessed his admiration for the President and his team for continually striving to better the welfare of their colleagues on campus, he further asserted that the partnership will be a win-win situation for both parties.

In the Memorandum, Africell SL Limited shall provide the following;

1. Deploy a Kiosk that will provide Africell Services(Vouchers, sim cards, and other related services) to be run by the SUG Njala Campus.

2. Provide Internship opportunities in various fields for selected students, and such opportunities shall be based on the available roles at Africell.

3. Africell shall provide branding materials to the Students’ Union Government, Njala Campus.

4. T-Shirts, caps, pop sockets, hand band, books, etc

5. Africell shall sponsor one major event yearly for the duration of the MOU.

6. Africell in consultation with the SUG shall organize career workshop opportunities for students on campus.

7. Africell will be extending Afrmoney services on campus and also the management of Afrimoney have partnered with SUG and will be serving as Brand Ambassadors

In his closing statement, President Koroma proclaimed his gratitude to Africell SL Limited for such a partnership and vowed to continue seeking goodies for his colleagues on campus.
