This morning, in a tweet, SLFA confirmed that ”following a restest control conducted this morning on Osman Kakay and David Sesay, SLFA is pleased to announce that Kakay has therefore rejoined the Leone Stars 23-man squad ahead of today’s encounter against Ivory Coast”.

Four days after the match against Alegria, holding the defending champions to an impressive goalless draw, The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on Saturday, confirmed that two players, David Sesay and Osman Kakay, have tested positive for COVID-19 amid the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
