Fighting Drug Abuse With Music – Fast Rising Sierra Leonean Singer Jaaje Horace Released Her Debut Single ‘Chronic’

Drug abuse among youths in Africa is on the rise and millions of young people on the continent are facing serious mental issues caused by these drugs. Hence, there have been campaigns and sensitisation on the effects of drugs, and one of the most talented female musicians and fast-rising talent from Sierra Leone, Jaaje Horace has joined the fight against drug abuse with her first debut single titled ‘Chronic’.

Chronic is a hot dancehall tune that depicts the life of many young people who are into drugs and the adverse effects of drugs on their mental health and wellness. “That stubborn pastor pikin with the piercings and the tattoos”, “Chronic” is Self introductory; My style description contains words of motivation and overall a dancehall vibe like never before.

The sensational artist JAAJE HORACE, stage/nicknamed MAGIC grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone, birthplace still unknown. Jaaje Horace is a musician and business executive, with a sound portfolio confounded with other talents and skills like Writing, Modelling, Acting, makeup artistry and set design, pageant coaching and the list goes on…

Jaaje Horace honed these gifts into a licensed company, Magic Finger International, an umbrella body which gave birth to movie productions, Runway Angels Modelling Agency, Magical Dancers and countless successful entertainers in their respective fields.

As a former talent manager, passionate about supporting and promoting talent, especially from Sierra Leone; Jaaje Horace is now devoted to her music and evidently recently returned from a lit performance in The Gambia and already packing her bags for an unknown destination to do some collaborations.

This refreshing sound was produced by one of the best music producers in Sierra Leone Solos Beat and mastered by Lamzo Jay. The official video is as hot as the audio and it is awesome to see the new landscape as the video was shot and filmed in Dubai by entertainment mogul V2M in the United Arab Emirates. The video shows how a young man lost his job because of drugs and this led him to lose everything he worked for in just a blink of an eye.
