Meet Nasara James Dabo: A 13-year-old Nigerian Girl From Kaduna State Who Solved 34 Mathematics Questions in 172 Seconds To Win International Mathematical Olympiad

Nasara James Dabo, a 13-year-old Nigerian genius girl from Kaduna State has set a remarkable record in Mathematics after she solved 34 Mathematics questions in 172 seconds to win the International Mathematical Olympiad Competition, winning gold. Nasara is a student of Ideal International College in Kaduna state.

Nasara shone throughout the mathematics competition, according to a tweet published on December 27 by Kaduna Affairs. Nasara James Dabo, a 13-year-old student of Ideal International College in Kaduna, participated in the just completed International Mathematical Olympiad training.

The young genius who took part in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) completed the competition with a final score of 145 points after finishing 34 mathematical problems in 172 seconds (less than 3 minutes).

This achievement was a feather in her cap as she defeated over 150 carefully chosen competitors in the “Junior Category” to win first place and the Olympiad title. She received a gold award in recognition of her steadfast commitment to mathematics and her studies.
