OBITUARY – Cameroonian Journalist Alain Amobe Mevegue Is Dead

The famous cultural journalist, Cameroonian TV host, Alain Amobé Mévégué, a host on France 24 and TV5 Monde died this Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

The host and producer of culture bowed out this Wednesday, September 8 from the consequences of illness. According to sources close to the illustrious missing, Amobe Mevegue is said to have died of coronavirus.

The announcement of this sad news had the effect of a thunderclap. It has been less than three weeks since Alain Amobe Mevegue, apparently in good health, shared on the web his joy at being in the land of his ancestors in the Center Region of Cameroon.

Born in Cameroon 53 years ago, Amobe Mevegue was a famous cultural journalist, radio and television producer. He worked in particular for CFI, TV5, RFI, France 24, among others.
