Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr Juldeh Jalloh, Prince Ned Nwoko, and others to grace Focus Africa Series Launch and Awards.

The Republic of Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senate Minority Leader and Hon Prince Ned Nwoko, Chairman Ned Nwoko Foundation, are among the dignitaries to grace the Focus Africa Series Launch and Awards, coming up in Nigeria’s capital Territory, Abuja.

Focus Africa Series, is Africa’s top leadership, business, and entrepreneurship platform created to encourage dedicated entrepreneurs to thrive in several industries and to celebrate leaders with Milestone achievements in Africa.

The premium event which is expected to attract dignitaries from various sectors in Africa, including politics and business is scheduled to hold March 25, 2021, at the Musa Yar’Adua Center, Abuja.

Organizers said a highlight of the event will be the launch of the second edition of “Focus Africa Magazine and the recognition of some outstanding people whose efforts have in no small way contributed to the growth of humanity.

The theme of the event is: “Africa’s Transformational Journey”.

The keynote address will be delivered by Bar Ben Francis Kaifala, the Anti-Corruption Head Republic of Sierra Leone while Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh is the Chairman of the occasion.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the event are, Albino Bol Dhieu, Minister of Youth & Sports South Sudan, former Senate President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Governor Kano State, Engr Buba Galadima, Dr. Mohammed Liman, Controller General Federal Fire Service, Hon Ms. Manti Tarawali- Hon Minister Gender and Children Affairs, Republic of Sierra Leone, Senator Andy Uba Former Senator Anambra South, Alhaji Kanja Sesay, Hon Minister of Energy Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohammed Ndarani Mohammed SAN.

Hon. Dr. Edward Hinga Sandy, Minister of Trade Sierra Leone, Former Minister of Aviation/PDP Chieftain, Rt. Hon Chinedum Orji, Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Nebeela F. Tunis, Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs Sierra Leone, Prof Ibrahim Hussaini Doko, Managing Director Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Hon. Fatmata Sawaneh, National Women Leader Sierra Leone Political Party, Alhaji Goni Zakari, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Kure, MD Nirsal MFB, Chief Bar, Dan Nwayanwu, National Chairman Zenith Labour Party amongst others.

According to the organisers, among the recipients of the awards are Alhaji Goni Zakari from Nigeria and Billy Harry T Sesay from Sierra Leone. Alhaji Zakari is being recognized for his effort in feeding 1000 almajiris in North-Eastern Nigeria every day, consistently for the last five years. While, Billy Harry T Sesay, has through his company, Job Link Sierra Leone, created jobs for several unemployed youths by creating linkages, networking through information sharing, and helped to build the human capital in Sierra Leone.

“One of our core focuses at Focus Africa Magazine has been to build a platform where like-minded brands and entrepreneurs can effectively connect, learn and inspire themselves to create groundbreaking solutions, thereby strengthening the business value ecosystem,” Sucex Bright, host of Future Africa Series said.

“The series will spotlight forward thinkers and brands that are changing the narratives in Leadership & Governance, Business, Politics, Agriculture, Sports, Oil & Gas, Education, Community Development, Legal profession, ICT, Manufacturing, Health, Engineering, Transport & Maritime, Real-Estate, Religion, Society and more,” he added.

Local Organizing Committee Chairman of the event, Comrade Jibril Abdullahi Muregi, said the launch of the series will target about 50 million viewers in about 25 Countries by the 3rd quarter of 2021, for industry players who are raising the bar in the continent. The interviews will be held on different media platforms especially online and YouTube channels every weekend and are expected to begin airing on national television by May.
