Ghanaian footballer Thomas Partey is now the highest earner at Arsenal due to the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona on deadline day. Aubameyang was on a weekly wage of £350,000 before the striker moved to Barcelona on a free transfer on deadline day. This means Party who was the club’s second-highest earner and is reportedly on a £220, 000 per week wage has now become the club’s highest earner.
The defensive midfielder was signed from Atletico Madrid for a huge sum of £45 million in the summer of 2020. The 28-year-old is presently in his second season at Arsenal and has made 18 appearances this season so far for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Aubameyang would hope on relaunching his career at Barcelona following a tough last few weeks at Arsenal.
