Sierra Leonean sensation of CAN 2021, Mohamed Kamara, goalkeeper, has signed up for Horoya Athletic Club for two years. Propelled to the forefront of the continental scene after his remarkable performances against Algeria (Man of the Match) and Côte d’Ivoire (Franck Kessié’s penalty save) during CAN 2021 in Cameroon, Mohamed Kamara was playing until then at the East End Lions FC, a Sierra Leonean club based in the capital Freetown. Mohamed N Kamara popularly known as Fabianski was impressive for his country in the 2021 CAF African Cup of Nations in Cameroon. Sierra Leone made their first African Cup of Nations appearance in 26 years. Kamara’s first match at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon was against the Desert Foxes of Algeria – a match that made him a topic for his brilliant and heroic performance against the reigning champions of Africa, Algeria.

It was a sterling performance by Mohamed N Kamara against the Desert Foxes and defending champions, as Sierra Leone made their first African Cup of Nations appearanc! Goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara (Fabianski), 22, was the star of the match, with a stunning performance against the likes of Riyadh Mahrez.

Mohamed N Kamara was the first goalkeeper to win the Man of The Match award in the 2021 African Cup of Nations, he won it against Algeria. The goalkeeper also made an impressive penalty save against Ivory Coast.
