Grammys 2023: Tems Makes History

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems has won her first Grammy award, becoming the first Nigerian female artist to win a Grammy Award.

She won her first Grammy Award with her collaboration with American rapper Future for the hit song ‘Wait For You’, also featuring Drake.

The song won Best Melodic Rap Performance, beating ‘Die Hard’ by Kendrick Lamar and others. The 27-year-old has been one of the most streamed Nigerian artists since her debut.
