NEC Released Date For 2023 Sierra Leone Presidential Election

The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone has on Monday 14th March 2023 released a press statement on the proclamation of date for the Presidential Election in 2023.

In the press release signed by Mr Mohamed Kenewui Konneh the Chief Electoral Commissioner and Chairman National Returning Officer, it’s stated that “after consultation with His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone,” the 24th day of June 2023 is hereby proclaimed as the time for her election to the Office of the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
