Sierra Leone | Fuel Price Has Been Increased

The Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) Sierra Leone has on Monday 28th of February 2022 released a press statement citing the increments in fuel pump prices effective March 1st 2022.

According to the press release by the agency, the increase in fuel prices is highly driven by “International factors” which includes refined products at a predetermined set at the Global Market level, cost of importation, shipping cost and premium.

According to PRA, the new pump prices are as follows:

  • Petrol – from Le 10,000 to Le 12,000
  • Diesel – from Le 10,000 to Le 12,000
  • Kerosene – from Le 10,000 to Le 12,000
  • Fuel oil – from Le 10,000 to Le 12,000
