KaHlomasambe Masango is a resilient young man from South Africa who has defied all odds to achieve his dreams. Working as a gateman to pay his tuition fees, KaHlomasambe Masango has recently graduated from the University of South Africa with a degree in Education, boasting an impressive 17 distinctions.
Born and raised in South Africa, Masango faced numerous challenges in his pursuit of higher education. After completing his diploma in database administration, he found himself working as a plumber on a construction site. Unfortunately, he lost his job and had to make ends meet by taking up a role as a security guard in a pharmacy.
Despite the demanding nature of his job, Masango never gave up on his dreams. He applied to the University of South Africa and was accepted, thanks to the National Student Financial Aid loan offered to students across the country. Juggling work and academics was not easy, but Masango’s determination and dedication propelled him forward.
After years of hard work and sacrifice, Masango has finally obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Education, excelling in all 40 modules and earning 17 distinctions on his first attempt. However, he did not let his qualifications hinder him from continuing to work as a security guard.
Following his graduation, Masango wasted no time in searching for teaching positions. He registered with the Gauteng unemployed educators database online and, within a few months, received his first-ever interview as an Educator. His exceptional qualifications and passion for teaching immediately landed him the job.
Today, Masango proudly serves as an Educator, imparting knowledge and inspiring young minds in Gauteng, South Africa. His journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the belief that no dream is too big to achieve.
