BREAKING: Kao Denero Wins Best Hip Hop/Rap Artist In Africa 2021 Beating Khaligraph Jones

After fighting for over a decade to get the recognition he deserved, Sierra Leonean rapper Amara Dennis Turay popularly known as King Kao Denero has just won the Best Hip Hop/Rap Artist In Africa 2021 at the just concluded African Entertainment Awards in the United States of America beating top Africa lyricists like Vector, AQ, Nasty C, Khaligraph Jones, Ice Prince, and others.

This is not a surprise as the rapper has been the center of Africa hip hop discussion over the past year. Last year, King Kao Denero made headlines with his trending rap song ‘Kenyatta’ dissing Africa’s top lyricists like Sarkodie, MI, and Khaligraph Jones. The ‘Kenyatta’ song, we are safe to say, gave Kao Denero the recognition he has been fighting for in Africa. Since then, he has released top trending hip hop songs that have been the center of hip hop discussion in Africa.

As one of the household names in the Africa Hip Hop scene, with ten studio albums without a remix, Kao Denero has sold out shows multiple times at the National Stadium in Sierra Leone. He is, arguably, one of the greatest African hip-hop artists to ever do it.

The African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) is a Non-Profit Organization established in New Jersey USA to support, celebrate and uplift African Entertainment. This is the 7th edition of the AEUSA.
