Malakai Bayoh, whose parents are from Sierra Leone, has made it to Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals after ‘not-so-easy to impressed judge’ Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer.
The 13-year-old impressed the audience and judges with his incredible Pie Jesu performance, which drew support from the cheerful audience including his mother, and his sister. The other three judges, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli, also enjoyed his performance.
His performance was enjoyed by viewers watching the show from home as well. Some viewers recognized the young talented singer from performances he had previously given with a major classical singing star and at the Royal Opera House.
Before going on stage to congratulate Malakai on his incredible performance and send him straight through to the semi-finals, Simon gave his verdict, saying that it was an amazing performance as he leaned over and pressed the Golden Buzzer.

However, Malakai is already a well-known figure on the opera circuit, having performed with Aled Jones.
Malakai made his stage debut at the Royal Opera House, so he is no stranger to fame. He was there to sing Oberto in the opera Alcina, and his holiday performances with Aled Jones went viral in December of last year.
